The North Shore saw a surge in its median sale price, with a year-on-year increase of 5.3% and an 11% increase on the previous month, reaching $1,295,000. This surge was accompanied by a substantial increase in the number of sales, up by 67.7% compared to the previous year and a 105.2% increase on January.
Out West in the Waitakere's we have also experienced positive growth trends, albeit slightly more moderate than North Shore. With a median sale price of $915,000, showing a year-on-year increase of 1.1%, and 5.1% increase on the prior month the market remains stable. The number of sales and total sales volume surged impressively by 33.7% and 86.4% respectively, demonstrating significant market activity. Properties in Waitakere are still moving relatively quickly, indicating strong buyer interest.
Meanwhile, Rodney District showcased a steady uptrend. With a median sale price of $1,160,000, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 2.7% and 5.9% increase on the previous month the market remains attractive to buyers. The number of sales surged by a remarkable 71.6% compared to the previous year and 19.8% increase on January, signaling a surge in demand and listings.
